As we unloaded our supply boxes, hung up our radios and cleaned out our work bags from event season (yikes), we happened to stumble across a memento from this year’s PenFed Foundation ‘Night of Heroes Gala.’
This year’s PenFed Foundation annual gala was more than six months in the making. From fundraising to production, marketing to managing VIPs, TWG did it all!
Not to mention, halfway through the show we had a call for tissues for both guests and staff alike.
Dahlia Constantine, winner of the ‘Hero at Home’ Award, brought the house to tears with her story of caregiving for her husband and veteran, Justin Constantine.
So now that we have slowed down (a little…) and settled back into a routine here at TWG, it is important to take some time and reflect over these past few months and the marathon that is event season.
Looking back, it seems like one big blur of beautiful table settings and frenzied radio conversations. But, as we take a deeper look at all we’ve accomplished in just a few short months, it’s apparent that the proof of a truly successful and special TWG event is in the details.
Words cannot describe how deeply touched and grateful the guests were at the end of the evening.
All in a day’s work right?
So this year, amidst the parades, fantastic firework displays, barbeques and family gatherings, TWG would like to take a moment this 4th of July to not only reflect on these past six months but thank those heroes who make this nation great!
Happy Fourth of July from everyone here at TWG!

The PenFed Foundation’s annual gala provides the financial support to help meet the needs of veterans and the wounded men and women of the armed forces.
